World Battle of the Bands Philippine leg

The finals of the Philippine leg of the World Battle of the bands was held yesterday at the SM Mall of Asia. Coincidentally, I was there at the time so unexpectedly I had the chance to watch the finals.



The gig was free (which has it's good and bad points..), so I got to the venue an hour before the event and got "the best seat" in the house (basically the best seat in the house for me is not inside a mosh pit... it is somewhere where I have a clear view of the whole stage and a comfortable seat far far away from the pit).



But then these bitch-ass-gay-looking-tight-spandex-sporting-bouncers started to tell people to get out of the venue first and come back again later when the gig is starting already.



What the hell is up with that?!!! where's the point in going early to a gig to get the best spot? If they let us in that early in the first place, then why in the hell would they tell us to go out again?? I mean, where's the point in doing so?? So rather than suffocate to death while squeezing through the tens of thousands of spectators, I opted to just ditch the place.



So starting at this moment... I promise myself never to go to gigs like these.... unless I'm part of the gig!
