Roar?
I got to watch King Kong today... and boy was it long! 3 hours long... hehehe.. I can't even remember the last time since I saw a movie this long.. :-P Anyway, it was a good movie... okay, okay. it was great okay?! Don't be alarmed, I'm not giving away spoilers here... hehehe.. or on second thought... joke :D ...So watching it sort of made me realize (or re-realize) how people think so very differently of other people that is not like them. How the "explorers" thought differently of the "natives". But wouldn't it be the same the other way around? I mean the "natives" thinking that the "explorers" are the primitive ones? What gave us the assurance that we are the best of our kind? Isn't it just because we are taught that way while growing up? We were just told that we are the "most advanced" of all species? Come to think of it.. what if 1+1 isn't really 2? what if it was 3 or another value? Isn't it that we just say that 1+1=2 is because that was what we was taught since the dawn of time (or whenever man thought about this thing)? ...It's like my mind is playing tricks on me... but one thing is for sure... King Kong is not a monster... it is just an oversized gorrilla! hehehe....
...to be continued? ...we'll see..
