I haven't answered a survey in a long time.... puro ba naman kasi mga naulit na eh... kaya eto na lang...

1. Why am I into metal?

Why am I into metal? well, for one it speaks of the truth and what's happening in our society today.

2. What's the purpose of me listening to metal?

There really shouldn't be any purpose on why one listens to metal. One just enjoys it that's why one listens to it.

3. Is it really metal that I am listening right now?

partly... recently I've been listening to metal and alt-rock music. I listen to both genres to get inspiration when writting my own stuff.

4. How well do you know metal?

Well enough to enjoy listening and playing it.

5. How long have you been listening to metal?

I've been listening to metallica and megadeth since grade 3.. then from then on the artists that I've been listening to started to expand.

6. How come I have so much anger to everyone,everything even those small things?

Technically if you listen to the message some metal songs they give messages of hope. If people just started to open their minds to this type of music, it's not just the heavily distorted guitars, hi speed drum beats and screeching vocals... there is a deeper meaning to metal.

7. Do you really need to be a "Satanist" or "Anti-christ" to be called a metal?

One doesn't need to be a Satanist or anti-christ to be called metal as many believe. I am into metal because I love playing it. Music and religion are two separate things, and I try not to associate it with each other.

8. How much do you love metal?

It runs in my veins.

9. What would you get out of listening or being ametalhead?

I get to know other open-minded people. (but sometimes I also meet poseurs, and discriminators...)

10. Why am I so "close-minded" and "ignorant"regarding the musical issue of metal?

I am not close-minded... I have accepted the fact that metal music cannot please everyone, it's the same as how other genres cannot satisfy my taste.

11. How many "PIRATED METAL CDs and DVDs"have you bought?! Come on!! Say it!!! UMAMINKA!!!

In our country, it's very difficult to get a hold on original metal artist's CDs. So most enthusiasts opt to buy pirated ones rather than ordering through the internet since it costs more than the original CDs sold here. But if an artists releases their album here then I always try to buy original material.

12. How many original metal cd,dvd have youbought?! Really!? TALAGA LANG HA

A lot... I'm having a hard time finding space to put them on.

13. Are you a "poseur"? Why or Why not?!

I listen to metal due to the sheer fascination that I get whenever I play them. And I don't listen to it just to fit in with other people.

14. Why do you think "poseur" is so much an issue in metal whereas in other genre of music it's not that big?

It's just that these poseurs act like big shots that they tend to step on others, when in fact that they themselves don't know a single thing about being metal.

15. Are you really sure you're not a poseur? Ohcome on?!?!?!

I've said it once and I'll say it again.. no, I am not a poseur!
