NBA fever has returned
okay... by the time i'm writing this entry, the spurs, pistons, cavs, and lakers would have already won their opening games. Hmmm... so betting on either the spurs or pistons to win the tilte this year would be a wise thing to do, but why place bets on the cavs and the lakers too? Well, one look at the cavs will not show you its true potential... you've got to know first all their players just to say that they have a fighting chance this season to make it in the playoffs, hell, they could even make it past the first round.. although they would have a very hard time in the second round because most likely they are to face the pistons then. As for the lakers, well... there is a good chance that they will be leading the pacific division this year. How can I say so? Well... look at the suns this year, with the loss of a number of key players due to trades and free agency, the suns are not what they used to be last season, plus the injury of amare stoudemire.. then they are in for one hell of a bumpy ride this first part of the season. And also, the kings wouldn't pose so much of a threat in the pacific division this year also... why? well, it's obvious enough to figure out by yourself already... And one last thing, I'm not placing my bets on the heat this year even though it seems like they have an "all star" line-up this season, look at portland a few seasons ago.. heck! look at the lakers two seasons ago! They were the "superlakers" then with the "fab4" as their starting line-up, but still they were upset by the pistons in the finals. So even though wade is one of my favorite players, I'm still not putting my money on them..
...As of posting this entry, the lakers just lost to phoenix (damn!!!!)... but still indiana beat miami!! oh yeah!! hehehe... i hope cleveland wins tomorrow against the spurs... oh yeah!!
