EDDIE GUERRERO 1967-2005

Just this morning, Eddie Guerrero wasfound dead inside of his hotel room in Minneapolis. Though the cause of death is still unknown at the moment, an autopsy will be performed tomorrow.

Maybe you're wondering who in the hell Eddie Guerrero is. Well, for me he may be one of the greatest wrestlers in this lifetime. From the titles he has held over his 17 year career, one can see that he is indeed arguably the best Lucha Dore style wrestler ever produced.

Well, being a Guerrero certainly gave him his breaks since the Guerrero's are considered as royalty in the wrestling business. Starting at an early age, he mastered the dropkick at the age of three and went on to wrestle for various stages. From Japan, Mexico, ECW, WCW and lastly he jumped to WWE.

But with all the success he has gained throughout the years, his inner demons still got the best of him as he then took some time off from wrestling to deal with these personal problems.

Then as he came back to wrestling once again, he was in a way "reborn". As he won the WWE title in 2004. Indeed he was on top of the world then. Then finally on October 9, 2004 he won an even bigger prize... he won a friend in the persona of Batista (grabe.. ang corny pakinggan... pero pag napanood mo naman eh astig! hehehe).

He then won his final match last Nov. 11 against Ken Kennedy. He became the first one to defeat Mr. Kennedy since he (Mr. Kennedy) entered the WWE. What will our Friday nights (fridays in America... Sundays here in the Philippines.. hehehe) now be without the antics of Eddie? Will Smackdown then turn into a more boring show? Whatever the future of Smackdown holds, Eddie Guerrero will surely be missed.
